The World Ocean Council (WOC) – the lead GloFouling Project Partner for engaging the wider ocean business and investment community – invites interested parties to the GloFouling Webinar Series.

The webinars are part of the GEF-UNDP-IMO GloFouling Partnerships Project which is working to better understand and tackle the multi-sectoral challenge of biofouling and its impacts on marine biodiversity and the Sustainable Blue Economy.

Webinar: Private Sector Partnerships and Opportunities for the SDGs in Small Island Developing States

Organized by the UN Global Compact, the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and the International Chamber of Commerce, this webinar on June 27, 2019 at 09:30 am (Eastern Standard Time) will raise awareness about the global Sustainable Development Goal processes and partnership possibilities available to the private sector in the lead up to the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) and UN General Assembly Week (UNGA), with a focus on the small island developing states (SIDS).

Webinar On Business Advancing the Implementation of SDG 14

New York, 2 February 2017 – For private sector interested in attending or learning more about The Ocean Conference, the Global Compact will be conducting a webinar on March 8th, 2017 at 10AM EST entitled: Conservation and Sustainable Use of Oceans, Seas and Marine Resources: Business Advancing the Implementation of SDG 14. The webinar will provide participants with an update on the process leading to The Ocean Conference and will highlight opportunities for private sector stakeholders to participate and contribute to this global effort for the implementation of SDG 14.  For more information and to register for the webinar, click here.
